Time value vs. assistant cost
Salary ranges come from our 2026 pricing guide. You pay the assistant's salary directly, with no markup.
Your 30-day delegation plan
How we calculate: delegable hours count all "Delegate now" hours plus half of your "Hybrid" hours, since you'll still spend time reviewing that work. Annual figures use 48 working weeks. Your results are an estimate based on your own inputs.
Delegation Audit FAQ
How does the delegation audit work?
Pick your role, industry and the hourly value of your time, then tick the tasks you do in a typical week and set roughly how many hours each takes. The audit sorts them into immediate wins, hybrid tasks and core executive work, counts your delegable hours and shows what that time is worth over a year.
Which tasks should an executive never delegate?
Keep strategy and big decisions, your most important client, investor and partner relationships, leading your team and making hiring decisions, and final approval on spending, pricing and contracts. An executive assistant can still prepare for all of these, but the decision stays with you.
What is the difference between an immediate win and a hybrid task?
An immediate win is routine work an assistant can run with a short checklist, such as scheduling, inbox triage and expense reports. A hybrid task is work your assistant prepares and you approve, such as replies to key clients, invoices and weekly reports. The audit counts half of your hybrid hours as recoverable, because you still spend time reviewing that work.
How does the audit calculate the value of my time?
It multiplies your delegable hours per week by the hourly value you enter, across 48 working weeks a year. It then compares that figure with the midpoint salary for the executive assistant level it recommends, based on our 2026 salary ranges for the Philippines and South Africa, plus the one-time recruitment fee.
Do I need to enter my email to see my results?
No. Your scorecard and 30-day plan appear straight away, and you can print them or save them as a PDF. The audit runs in your browser and does not store your answers.
